Colonial and Indian Exhibition London.

About 5000 of these Indian & Colonial Exhibition medals were struck. They were engraved by Leonard Wyon and minted in Birmingham by Heaton’s who charged £145 per 1000 medals. The medals were presented with a diploma to each person who took part in the Indian and Colonial exhibition. The recipient’s name were not inscribed.

Bronze medal struck for the Colonial & Indian Exhibition, which was held at South Kensington, London, from 4 May to 20 November 1886. This medal was presented to Frederick McCoy.
